We have more fun playing Irish music than should be legal, and we want you and your guests be part of the experience! Our tagline says it all: “Trotters Wake... bringing the pub to your party!™”

I started Trotters Wake Irish Band on St. Patrick’s Day 2006, and we served Arizona’s Irish music needs year-round for 17 years until I retired the Arizona band in April 2023. I reformed the band under the same name in the Philadelphia area, and we now serve eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and parts of New York, Delaware, and Maryland.

We continue to play the same high energy mix of Irish drinking songs, rebel songs, ballads, and traditional instrumental tunes (jigs, reels, etc.) as we unashamedly strive to be authentically traditional Irish in the style of The Clancy Brothers, The Dubliners, The Irish Rovers, and The Wolfe Tones, while also playing songs with more "modern" sounds from bands like The Pogues, Flogging Molly, The Waterboys, and Gaelic Storm. We currently play primarily in combos of 1-3 players to fit most budgets including acoustic guitar and kick drum, fiddle, and bodhrán (Irish hand drum), but we can add bass guitar if desired.

The audio and video samples provided have been updated to reflect the new Pennsylvania band, and any reviews dated June 2, 2023 or later are for the new band. Please note that our accordion player left the band due to personal reasons, so accordion is not available at this time.
